Client Side:
- Uses a Flash application, in remote communication with the Chauncy server.
- Requires only a Flash plug-in and a modern browser (IE 6+, NS 6+, Mozilla 1+, Safari 312.3+, recent FireFox, etc.)
- The Flash plug-in is often preinstalled and, if not, may easily be downloaded and installed for free from Macromedia (www.macromedia.com).

Server Side:
- Chauncy runs remotely, on the Turing's Craft servers, not on your school machines.
- Chauncy uses the proven CodeLab exercise-checking technology that has been used by nearly 16,000 students, 75 colleges and universities. So far nearly 5 million exercises have been checked by CodeLab!
